Our indoor learning areas are bright and airy and reflect a home like environment that is stimulating for the children.  Resources used in each room are selected to ensure they are age appropriate, inviting and engaging to the children. Carefully thought out activities prepared on a daily basis, both planned and spontaneous, building on each individual children's needs and interests. Throughout the whole Centre, cuddles are encouraged.

• Possum 1 Room (0-16mths)
  The care in the Possum 1 Room is based on the nurturing and ever changing needs of the young babies and toddlers in their care. The area is always full of toys, books and activity frames.

• Possum 2 Room (16mths- 2yrs)
  The Possum 2 Room children start learning self help techniques as well as awareness and expression of the needs of themselves and others.

• Bilby Room (2yrs - 3yrs)
  The Bilby room build on the child's perception of self through positively guiding social behaviour, group times, taking care of personal belongings and developing self-toileting skills.

• Emu Room (3yrs- 31/2yrs)
  In the Emu room the children have extended group times where children are encouraged to use there imagination and grow their communication skills. The children are also engaged in an age appropriate preschool program that is delivered by an educator who is university trained in earlychildhood education.

• Preschool (3yrs - 6yrs)
  The children in the Preschool Room are involved in a Preschool and school readiness programs to help make their transition to school smooth and less daunting, these are delivered by an educator who is university trained in earlychildhood education. The children are given greater responsibility for belonging and tasks and are involved in longer learning topics including their environment, countries, space, animals, health etc.
